Londres à Paris à Londres

I was reading through an old post (particularly the one with the photo of Lisa Fonssagrives on the Eiffel Tower) and thinking about how I had said 'I hope I get to Paris someday'. It was only from six months ago. I had to laugh to myself because it really made me think about how you truly never know where life will take you at any given moment. I went to Paris for the first time last Tuesday and had a lovely time. In fact it was so lovely that I went again on Saturday! The weather was beautiful and the flowers were in bloom and I knew that this was the place I was supposed to be. I think a lot about where I will end up after college and sometimes you just know...ya'know? Maybe Paris, maybe not. Maybe London, maybe not. But I would certainly enjoy living in Europe for a prolonged period after school.

Step 1: Learn another language. Apparently the English language is over anyway. Who wants to be my tutor?

I received this postcard a few days ago from my friend Ian from Paris. I never get postcards so this is all very exciting. He's been partying studying abroad in Germany for the past five months.

I hope to get to Paris someday.
